US markets closed mixed yesterday night with both DJ and S&P500 closed positive while Nasdaq was down due to Oracle who failed to meet expectation with its earning.  Asian bourses were mostly down for the day after yesterday rally.  Nikkei closed -0.77%, SSE -0.22% and HSI -0.21%.  STI closed -0.32% in a very very thin volume day of less than 600 million as investors staying sideline ahead of the Christmas holiday and also waiting for US economic data of GDP and jobless claims tonight.  Though volume was thin however there appears to be some selective window dressing either gearing up for tomorrow or end of the year.
