As of the closing on 18th April 2012, the total number of STI index stocks that having golden cross of 50d EMA cut up 200d EMA remained the same at 24 but there was a change of in the sense of CapitaMall Trust replacing NOL from the list. The resilience of CapitaMall Trust and firm earning has managed to move the price up to form the golden cross whereas the selling on NOL has caused a dead cross ( 50d EMA cut down 200d EMA ).
