US markets advanced at least 1% yesterday night with DJ reclaimed the 10,000 level due to better than expected corporate earnings offsetting a weaker than expected jobless claim. Asia bourses were cheered with the movement and traded in the positive region. Nikkei closed +0.15%, SSE +1.85% and HSI +1.71%. STI following the rest of the bourses reclaimed the 2,700 level when investors snapping up the blue chips. Property stocks were leading the buying up.
